At the time, the album title was still undecided, but Helen knew it would have something to do with travelling home and visiting one's roots. So when Heather said her house would be fine, I took her at her word. What I didn’t expect was a stunning, two story, blue stone house, that would be a dream to shoot in & around. Thank you Carl for being so accommodating. Carl took the morning off, and I felt like I’d brought an assistant- my camera and lighting gear magically appeared wherever I needed it. Near the end, Carl’s sister dropped by, and helped keep Amber animated. Now it was impossible to take a bad photo! It’s days like this that help compensate for the times a three year old tries to bite off the buttons on my camera. Sounds good to me! It’s very rewarding being a part of people’s lives over time.
