Josh & Jody

One of the reasons this post is only appearing three months after J&J’s wedding, is that I wanted to create a slide show, instead of just posting some images. But as those who’ve tried it know, finding suitable music that can be afforadably licensed for web use, is very difficult. For example, I contacted Blue Note Records to enquire about licencing Nora Jones’ “Come Away With Me.” I was told that “Mis Jones rare allows this type of useage at any cost, but if she made an exception in your case, the minimum fee for useage on your website would be US$30,000.”

Finally, I found some suitable music and the slideshow is below. Enjoy!

Girls in red

I’ve never seen a set of groomsmen so concerned about getting their hair just right, but then I remembered that Jody runs a hair dressing business…

Boys getting ready in Orange

In days gone by, the job of the groomsmen was actually to help the groom keep the bride safe from assailants and potential abductors. I got the impression these guys could have handled a small private army without even getting their suits dirty. So as not to put their skills to waste, there was a small demonstration during the reception.

No one's stealing this bride!
