Just as the music rolled, and the girls elegantly strolled to the front of Eat Your Green’s rose garden, a couple of random rain drops started descending. The pastor announced that if it started raining he’d direct everyone inside, but all appeared well… at least until the “I do’s” !
Trapped between declaring her undying love for the man of her dreams, or answering the pastor’s big question by running away to keep her dress dry, Sarah held firm. To her absolute credit, by the time they’d exchanged rings, everyone was moderately drenched by the drizzle, causing countless hours of intricately tamed hair, to cling to it’s owners, like a 3 year old clings to it’s parent’s legs.
By the time her dress had been used to mop the veranda floor during family photos (despite my own best efforts), Sarah decided that there was nothing left to do but plunge out onto the wet grass, and photograph like crazy. So we did!
Congratulations Sarah & James, on making your wedding day a declaration of love, come what may.

With a few drops still coming down, James is not convinced this is going to last.

Janet Lee - How Gorgeous!!! I just love Eat Your Greens, it’s perfect in any weather – I love your photos in the rain, what a pretty, romantic effect with the light rain falling behind the couple as they are being married and the photos with a dark stormy sky behind actually bring all the other colours out in the photos which I really like and the sun came out afterall – gorgeous!! – how romantic and in love these two people are – you can see it in every photo :)
